By day, Amber Hildebrandt writes stories about the top stories of the day in the pressure cooker of an online newsroom.

At night, I let off a little steam by chopping and dicing and peeling whatever I found in the grocery store on the way home.

My interest is in exploring different foods and cooking a few recipes in the process. I'm by no means a chef or an expert of any kind. I just love food and decided to leap into the blogosphere as an outlet for my foodie tendencies.
